Peert-to-Peer transfer service

If you want to use the Peer-to-Peer transfer, You must configure the settings in the admin portal   :

1. Open Peer-to-Peer ports for the service. TCP/3443;UDP/3478;UDP/32003
2. Configure the public or internal ip address (the same as the IP address of the Raysync service) and port number of the peer-to-peer service in [Configuration] - Transfer [Peer-to-peer]. If the service is used on a public network, set the IP address to a public network. After the configuration is successful, the system restarts to take effect

Function	Description
Peer to Peer Server address	Public or internal IP addresses of peer-to-peer services (the same as the IP address of the Raysync service). Multiple IP addresses are supported, but domain names are not supported
Port	Port monitored by the Peer-to-Peer service. The default port is 32003

Stun Service

Configuring the stun Service(Optional), it can detect the network between two devices to establish a direct connection service between the devices when creating peer to peer transfer, which improves the success rate of direct connection in peer-to-peer task transmission. You can deploy your private Stun service or use an open public Stun service.

Function	Description
Stun Server address	Public IP address or domain name of the Stun service. Only one IP address is supported
Port	Port monitored by the Stun service. The default port is 3478

Before You Start

• Both sender and receiver are logged in, have the client running, and have enabled the P2P feature.

• Both devices have normal network connectivity.

• The receiver has enabled the “Allow receive files from others” permission in settings.

• The receiver has shared their device ID with the sender.

Send Files to a Remote Device

1. The sender goes to “Peer to Peer” in the left menu and confirms that “Enable P2P” is turned on in the upper‑right corner.

2. In the “Remote Computer” section, click “Connect device”, enter the receiver's device ID or email, and click Connect.

3. After a successful connection, select the files or folders to send in the “My Computer” section.

4. In the remote computer section, navigate to the directory where the receiver wants to save the files.

5. Confirm the selection and click “Send”, or drag and drop the files to the remote computer area.

6. Check the transfer progress and result in the “Transfer Center”.

Receive Files from a Remote Device

1. In the “Remote Computer” section, select the files or folders you want to receive. (Prerequisite: The remote device has enabled the “Allow others to fetch files” permission.)

2. In the local “My Computer” section, navigate to the directory where you want to save the files.

3. Confirm the selection and click “Receive”, or drag and drop the files to the “My Computer” area.

4. Check the transfer progress and result in the “Transfer Center”.

Send peer-to-peer files

1. Login user portal
2. Download and install the client
3. Click left menu Send
4. Enter the receiver's device ID
5. Select file
6. Click Start to transfer

Receive peer-to-peer files

1. Login user-end portal
2. Download and install the client
3. Click left menu Receive
4. Enable the Allow to receive files
5. Copy the device ID and send it to the sender
6. Prepare to receive files
