1. Storage configuration
The storage configuration is used to specify the storage home directory and virtual directory of all user and group file libraries in the space, and supports the configuration of multiple storages.
- Local storage
-
Alibaba Cloud OSS
-
Amazon S3
-
S3‑compatible storage
-
Azure Blob
-
Google Cloud Storage
1.1 Add local storage
-
-
Go to Configuration > Storage > Add > Local Storage.
-
Enter the storage name. Specify the service directory path to be used as the storage root.
-
Click Save.
-

1.2 Add Alibaba Cloud OSS storage
-
-
Select Alibaba Cloud OSS as the storage type.
-
Fill in the required OSS configuration information:
-
Name: Storage name
- Endpoint: Defaults to
https://. To usehttp://, manually add the prefix (e.g.,http://oss.example.com) -
Access Key ID & Access Key Secret
-
Bucket name
- OSS home(Optional): Specify an home path. If left blank, the bucket root directory is used.
-
Slice size(Optional): refers to the size of each data block. The system splits the file into multiple blocks and sends them one by one to the cloud server. There is no absolute standard for this setting. It requires a balance among network stability, file size, and system limitations. The basic guidelines are:
-
-
If the file is very large and the network is stable: Increase the slice size (e.g., 50–100 MB) to reduce the number of requests and improve speed.
-
If the network is unstable: Decrease the slice size (e.g., 1–5 MB) so that even if a transfer fails, only a small amount of data needs to be retransmitted.
-
-
-
-
Click Test to verify the configuration.
-
If the test passes, click Save.
-
1.3 Add Amazon S3 storage
-
-
Select S3 Compatible Storage.
-
Configure the following:
- Name: Storage name
- Endpoint: Defaults to
https://. To usehttp://, manually add the prefix (e.g.,http://s3.example.com) -
Region: e.g., ap-east-1
-
Access Key ID & Secret Access Key
-
Bucket name
-
S3 home(Optional): Specify an home path. If left blank, the bucket root directory is used.
-
Slice size(Optional): See "Section 1.2 Field Description"
- Click Test to verify the configuration.
-
If the test passes, click Save.
-
1.4 Add S3 interface compatible storage
-
-
Select S3 Compatible Storage. Such as Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage , Wasabi, Ceph Object Storage, and others.
-
Configure the following:
-
Name: Storage name
- Endpoint: Defaults to https:// protocol. If you use http:// , you need to add http:// in front of the Endpoint
-
Access Key ID & Secret Access Key
-
Bucket name
-
Storage path(Optional): Specify an home path. If left blank, the bucket root directory is used.
- Slice size(Optional): See "Section 1.2 Field Description"
-
-
Click Test to validate the connection.
-
After successful test, click Save.
-
1.5 Add Azure Blob Storage
-
-
Select Azure Blob as the storage type.
-
Provide the required information:
- Name: Storage name
-
Connection string
-
Container
-
Blob Path(Optional): Specify an home path. If left blank, the bucket root directory is used.
- Slice size(Optional): See "Section 1.2 Field Description"
-
Click Test to validate the connection.
-
If the test succeeds, click Save.
-
1.6 Add Google Cloud Storage
-
-
Select Google Cloud Storage as the storage type.
-
Provide the required information:
- Name: Storage name
-
Upload the correct Google Cloud Storage credential file (JSON format).
- Bucket name
-
GCS Path(Optional): Specify an home path. If left blank, the bucket root directory is used.
- Slice size(Optional): See "Section 1.2 Field Description"
-
Click Test.
-
If the test succeeds, click Save.
-
1.7 Edit Storage
Go to Configuration > Storage > Choose Storage . Edit the information you need. Then click Save.
1.8 Delete Storage
Go to Configuration > Storage > Choose Storage . Delete the storage you need.
1.9 Set as Default Storage
Go to Configuration > Storage > choose Storage . Mark storage you want as the system default.
2. Statistics period
Global scan statistics group file library and user personal folder storage, administrators can configure the statistical period to facilitate storage management and optimization.
Note: Group file libraries and user personal folders only count local storage. If you need to count object storage, you need to turn on this option. Object storage statistics depend on group file library, personal folder statistics and maximum storage capacity. Turning on object storage statistics will take effect only when any one of them is turned on. Enabling object storage statistics alone will not take effect. The statistical period follows the statistical period of group file libraries and personal folders, and the default interval is 1 hour. Object storage statistics may incur corresponding charges, so please use them with caution.
